30 minutes is an interactive installation where the viewers are invited to walk on the stepping stones, approach to the water tank and freely interact with the sponges and water. The cloth layered on the ground is called Zen cloth and it reacts to water in black. This specially made paper evaporates water fast so that it turns back into white color, constantly erasing the traces that the interactors (called activators) made on the paper. People make their traces freely by splashing, squeezing, drawing and even using their hands on this cloth.
Through a constant construction and deconstruction of images, I aim to separate the notion of existence from the idea of an image, being recognized, by shortening the duration of image life and reminding the viewer that the existential quality continues independently from dimensionality.

대화형/인터렉티브 설치작품 30 minutes 는 연출된 공간으로 관객을 초대한다. 초대를 응하는 이는 activator (자극하는이) 로서의 역할을 맡아 공간으로 들어와 연출이 제시하는 방향으로 작품과 교류한다. 징검다리위를 오르고 물 과 스펀지가 담겨져있는 오브제로 다가와 바닦에 깔려있는 천 (Zen cloth - 물에 닿으면 검은색으로 변하며 휘발성이 강해 물이 증발하며 다시 본원의 상태로 돌아오는 성질을 갖고있는 천이다.) 에 다양한 행위로 (스펀지의 물을짜거나, 물이가득찬 스펀지로 그림을 그리거나, 혹은 흩뿌리거나) 작품과 자유롭게 교류한다.
작품과 관객의 교류를 통한 이미지의 탄생은 흔적으로서 그들의 실존성을 대변하지만 반복적인 지움으로 통해 그들의 흔적, 즉이미지는 소실된다. 그러나 그들이 activator 로서 연출된 공간에 존재하였다는 존재성은 이미지의 유무즉, 인간이 이미지를 인식할 수있는 한계점 으로부터 독립적이며, 궁극적으로 우리가 보는 모든 상 또한 우리 스스로의 이미지는 우리를 이루는 존재의 흔적이라는것을 표현한다.
그렇다면 실존의 우리는 어디에 있는 것이며 어디로 갈것이며 어디에서 왔는가
